It’s not every day that a new state park is created. Lizard Mound State Park (POTA K-9704) in Southeastern Wisconsin was added to the list of Wisconsin State Parks in the Spring of 2022 and made available as a Parks on the Air entity in August, 2022. I explore the rich history of this small park and get it on the air.
