A couple months back you may have remembered my video and blog post on NVIS or Near Vertical Incidence Skywave propagation. In that video I give a introduction to the NVIS method and perform a real world demonstration of an NVIS contact. Well that video was as a precursor to a presentation I was to give on Portable Field Operations for the Wisconsin ARES/RACES annual conference. So for those that want more information on NVIS: like how it works, applications, and antenna choices, I recommend that you watch my presentation that I gave on Saturday October 13, 2018 at the conference.

I do have a short question and answer after the presentation, so be sure to stick around to the end, and if you have any questions or comments about NVIS or Near Vertical Incidence Skywave propagation, please be sure to leave them in the comments below.
