I’ve pretty much ridden the wave of new amateur radio operators getting on the air and sales have tapered off to a more manageable level. Normal turnaround is 1-2 business days. The 6 meter antenna usually ships in 3-4 days. The website has been rebuilt‚ although there are some bits and pieces that need adjustment. So if you see anything out of the ordinary please let me know.

During the summer months‚ support during Fridays and the weekends will be limited as we travel and take a bit of time off. If you leave a message during the weekend‚ I’ll get back to you on Monday.

Over the weekend the website database crashed. I didn’t lose any information but customers weren’t able to place any orders as items would disappear as soon as they were placed into the shopping cart. The good news is that everything this fixed and back online. I ended up rebuilding the site and importing all the data. It was a long process but the good news is that I was able to get rid of 11 years of junk that had collected and the site is now running better and faster than ever.

Turnaround time continues to be 2-3 business days although I may get your order out sooner if there aren’t many orders ahead of yours. 6 meter antennas are shipped on Mondays as I have to drop them off at Fedex.

I am receiving reports of additional delays in shipping transit time for some orders. It seems that it takes additional time for packages to travel through the Detroit regional processing facility‚ so if your address is in Michigan‚ Indiana‚ or Ohio; it may take longer for your order to arrive. Unfortunately there is no way to predict how long it will take‚ so please be patient. I apologize for the delay.

Demand continues to be high for VHF/UHF antennas. Thank you for your support. Turnaround is about 2-3 days although some may go out quicker and others slower. In order to make the process more efficient‚ I will batch the constructions of antennas. Common models like the 2 meter J-Pole and Slim Jim antennas can go out quickly and others may take a little more time.

I’m starting to see some shortages in the supply chain- especially adapters and ferrites. I’ve working to keep a supply on hand‚ but with demand being high they also go out of stock quickly.

The USPS has increased their delivery projections by a day for 1st Class Parcel and Priority Mail services. What normally takes 2-3 days to reach their destination will now take 3-4 days. In certain cases I’ve seen some packages take longer. If you don’t receive your order in a reasonable amount of time‚ please let me know and I’ll check on it’s status.

Email still is the best way to get ahold of me. I can take your phone call but you also may end up leaving a message for me. I may also not be available for calls over the weekends. Lots of stuff is going on and I’m focused on returning calls during business hours.

We’re back online. Thank you to everyone for their patience.

— April 8 2020 —

Thank you for the outpouring of support. The last six weeks have been extremely busy but I still have been able to get most orders out within 2-3 business days. I am very appreciative and am glad that I’ve been able to help with your communication needs.

My webstore will be closed starting on Friday April 10 until the morning of Monday April 13. I will not be accepting orders during that time. This will give me a chance to catch up on pending orders and to have some time off over the weekend to rest and reflect without the worry of getting the next shipment out. Rest assured I will take your order on Monday so thank you for your understanding.

Email is the best way to get ahold of me right now- even though I work from home‚ I may not be able to take your call. Especially if I’m in the process of other tasks. I usually return messages in the morning.

In these uncertain times‚ I wanted to reach out and let you know what I am doing to help support you and your communication needs. As long as I’m able to procure supplies‚ I will continue to ship VHF/UHF antennas and accessories. In the last three weeks I have shipped a record number of antennas and am proud to say that I have been able to maintain my practice shipping within 1-2 business days upon receipt of your order.

Things have been quite fluid and everything seems to be moving at a rapid pace. As conditions change‚ things may go out of stock or delivery times will be delayed. I will report any shipping delays on this page. If I am unable to produce an item in a timely manner‚ I will label it ‘out of stock’ in my online store. Rest assured‚ if the shopping links are active‚ I am still shipping antennas.

I’m also taking all necessary precautions to protect my safety‚ that includes washing my hands (I encourage you to do the same) and picking up supplies during off-peak hours to limit my exposure. Pick up orders for antennas will be suspended for the time being.

I’ve also been receiving a high volume of emails and telephone calls. I try to return them all in a timely manner- if I don’t answer the phone‚ that means I’m building antennas. Please check my list of Frequently Asked Questions‚ your answer may be there. Otherwise leave a message and I’ll get right back to you.

Thank you so much for your continued business‚ it is really appreciated. Stay safe and wash your hands.
