Thank you Justin for creating this unsolicited independent review and field test of the 2 meter J-Pole antenna. It’s greatly appreciated.

If you are looking for mounting ideas for the antenna, Justin used a J-mount that screws into the roof with four large lag screws. This is a common mount for the small DTV satellite dishes and you may even be able to score one from free from a person upgrading their satellite tv system. This mount is pretty flexible and can also be screwed into a header in the side of the house or even screwed into a large wood fence post. A couple of hose clamps or U-Bolts are all that are needed to then attach the antenna onto the mount.

Good luck and happy transmitting.
