I ordered a 2 meter J pole and it was shipped very promptly. However, some grumpy postal employee had bent it into a L. Really, an L !

I called, and the company shipped a new one out immediately.

Great workmanship on the product, and prompt customer service.

Would most definitely do business here again.

In my youth I was an avid CBer. My CBs have sat idly in boxes for the better part of the last 15 years. Out of sheer boredom I decided to get my technician license and enter the world of Ham Radio. After acing the test I purchased a Wouxun KG-UVD1P HT. The stock and the subsequent "high-gain" rubber duck antennas could barely hit the local repeaters. I knew my only chance was to put a base antenna in the air. After reading numerous articles praising the j-pole antenna, and since I don't have the equipment to match something I built myself, I purchased one from you. While I was a little leery of relying solely on solder to hold the SO-239 connector, I must say I'm extremely impressed with the performance of the antenna. With a mere 5W output from my cheap-o HT, I'm able to hit not only the local repeaters, but hit repeaters 30+ miles away with full quieting! Something I would never have imagined possible from my CB experiences. And the solder connections I was worried about have withstood several rounds of severe thunderstorm winds (N. TX, May 2011). An excellent product I highly recommend to every VHF/UHF Ham. Sometimes you get more than what you pay for!

Put up the antenna in a snow storm, but when finished, it matched well and works super, hitting a 220.00 repeater 80 miles away!!!!
