Welcome and thanks for viewing my site. My name is Michael, KB9VBR, and I carry a full line of VHF and UHF antennas for sale. I specialize in a certain type of antenna called a J-Pole. The J-Pole antenna is a 3/4 wave antenna with a 1/4 wave matching stub. Sounds complicated, but it really isn't.

The great thing about J-Pole antennas is their simple design and excellent performance. My antennas have a low noise floor and a beautiful omnidirectional radiation pattern. They work great for amateur radio, public safety, scanner listening, business band, and GMRS purposes.

I bought one of these J-Poles from you a while back. I’m really more of a do-it-yourself kind of guy, but when I saw your ad here on ebay, well, I couldn’t make one myself for much cheaper really! Hi Michael, I wanted to say thanks for such a great antenna. My Yaesu FT-270R does wonders with it. I was able to get several more repeaters with in a 40 or so mile radius of my house while standing in my back yard holding the antenna in my hand. I think as soon as I can get my “tower” set up and get this antenna up about 20′ in the air I’ll be able to do better. I also passed my test and now have the call sign KF5RGA. Just wanted to let you know that I am very pleased with the antenna (and the fast shipping). I am monitoring the railroad band from my g/f’s house on Dewey Beach, near Anacortes, WA, about 12 miles from the railroad. I temporarily connected the antenna to my little hand-held Radio Shack Pro-51 and now have coverage of about 30 miles of line, from a detector I can hear south of Stanwood, WA to another detector north of Bow, WA.
