I just purchased an airband J-Pole from you. I plan to mount it to a fencebost in my yard to NMT conduit that is about 20 feet high. I'm very new to all this and was wondering about grounding and lighting protection as I'm in Florida. I will be using RF-9914F cable to connect the antenna to my scanner. DIsuspect I need to ground it all via a copper ground rod but I'm unsure about lighting protection. Can you provide any suggestions ? Thanks ! Question on lighting protection.
